UPDATE 2021: This demo was made while I was in high school. Due to me being in college now (studying game design!) and having more obligations, this project is being put on hold indefinitely. Thank you to everyone who played and otherwise supported the demo, I hope to come back to PNE someday!

In a world where the dead rarely stay that way,  ghosts and other such spirits are a regular sight. The exorcist knows this. And she knows what her job demands of her whenever she encounters one of the undead.

DESCRIPTION

PAUSE & EFFECT is an RPG made in RPG Maker VX Ace.  Its gameplay is  focused on exploration and story, as well as a standard RPG battle system (more battles to come). PAUSE & EFFECT is largely inspired by other RPG Maker games such as End Roll and Witch's Heart. 

CURRENTLY RELEASED

The first area and main introductory part of PAUSE & EFFECT is included in the demo.  Future developments gameplay-wise will  include more enemies and types of encounters, as well as some puzzle aspects. 

INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLATION

The RPG Maker VX Ace Runtime Package (RTP) is required to run the game. 

If you already have the RTP installed, then download the first file. If you don't have the RTP, download the second one, marked (RTP included).

If you want to download the Runtime Package for RPG Maker VX Ace from the official site, you can find it here. 

The game can only be run on Windows.
